Sefton Coast Forum 2008The 9th Annual Sefton Coast Partnership Forum was held on Saturday 28th June 2008. This year's Forum was based around the theme of Education and Lifelong Learning. Tying-in with Liverpool's year as European Capital of Culture, we decided to showcase some of the many events and activities which already occur along the Coast involving young people, schools, families, students and volunteers. There are a huge array of opportunities already out there for people to learn about, understand and maybe influence the management of this restless coast. The title of the Forum, 'My Coast, My Future', indicates that the Sefton Coast is looking forward to the future and hoping to bring our community - residents, visitors and academics alike - along on what is likely to prove a fascinating journey into a world affected by climate and coastal change! An overview of the day will shortly be added to this page.
