Weather StationsThere are a number of weather station operating within Sefton that record various elements of the weather. This weather data can be used in many area of coastal management from comparing wind speeds with storm damage to predicting when natterjack toad may be breeding. Better understanding the local weather can help managers make better informed management decisions.
Ainsdale and FormbyThe Ainsdale Weather station has been taken down for maintenance. The temperature and humidity sensor on the Formby station has now been replaced.
